  1. Choosing The Right Christmas Garland.

Discover the best Christmas Garlands for Christmas 2024

Christmas is a tme for magic and fairytales, to bring true Joy and Happiness to all. We all have our own Christmas traditions, but the one main Christmas tradition most of still follow, is decorate our homes with all things Christmas.

The one time of year we can truly go all out and decorate our homes from outdoor Christmas decorations, to a winterwonderland in our livingrooms. One way of creating your very own winterwonderland is to add Garlands to your home.

Christmas Garlands create a focal point within the home, alongside the beautifully decoratored Christmas Trees.

But how do we know what to Christmas Garland to choose ?

Here at Stassi's Bespoke Creations, we believe choosing Artificial Christmas Garlands are the best option. By choosing Artificial Christmas Garlands, you are buying into long lasting decorations, you can reuse each and every year for years to come.

Artificial Christmas Garlands can be used outdoors, in most circumstances when sprayed with protective spray. This allows you to be able to reuse your Christmas garlands in different areas of your homes each year.

The Perfect example of this is the PINK CANDY CANE GARLAND attached below, this style of garland can be hung indoors as a fireplace Garland or used as a front door Christmas Garland.

Alternative places to hang the same garland.

    • Staircase Garland
    • Window surround Garland
    • Doorway Garland
    • Internal Doors Garland
    • Wrapped around Christmas Trees
    • Railing Garland
    • Arch Christmas Garland.

How do you hang a garland?

We have made our garlands to be hung easily with minimal effort, if you are hanging  your Christmas Garland outdoors around doorways, we advise to use large cable grips, and hook the middle of the garland to the cable grip and hammer into the bricks mortar. This needs to be done all way around the garland to secure it all to the wall.

If you have UPVC you can use strong self adhesive hooks, and secure them to the garland with tiewraps. This is less secure than cable ties. So please ensure you purchase strong self adhesive hooks.

When hanging your Christmas garland to staircases, you can usually use the stems of the Artificial Garland, to tie them to the railings or hand rail.

When hanging your Christmas Garland on a Mantle, you can hang them in several ways depending on the Mantle shape. The majority of our garlands, can be draped over mantles without anything else, as the weight of the draped sides will anckor the Garland into place.

If you would like the Garland to hang infront of the mantle, I advise to use several tack nails into the wall directly above the mantlepiece, and attach the garland with string or fishing line as this is clear and less likely to be seen.

What to look for when choosing a Christmas Garland?

Our Handmade Christmas Garlands, are made to last for years to come, we have many different styles to choose from, our most popular style of Christmas Garland, is our Deco mesh garlands. Deco Mesh allows the Garland to instantly add colour  throughout the Christmas Garland, and perfect for our bold Whimsicial Christmas Garlands, such as our best selling CANDY CANE GARLAND

Christmas Garlands, should be full of accessories, from ribbons, baubles, Christmas Picks, winter flowers, this allows the garlands to instantly become more of a luxury Christmas Garland.

When Choosing a handmade Christmas Garland, it is essential to make sure the accessories such as the picks, Baubles, flowers are not just being glued to the garland base, as this will shorten the lifespam of the Christmas Garland, especially when hung outdoors.

    bauble garland

For Example: When we create a Bauble Garland, we individually glue each bauble top, which takes hours. We then create bauble garlands to attach to the pine Garland, that spirals throughout the Garland, Clusters can also be made, and then focal baubles are attached individually.

All of these baubles are then attached to the pine garland, with tiewraps, and wire. to secure them even more.

We ship to all Mainland UK, and offer payment plans to spread the cost of your decorations throughout the year. If you would like to discuss your decorations with me please email us at [email protected]

  2. Budget Friendly Dried Wedding flowers

One of the benefits of choosing dried flowers for your wedding decor is the potential cost savings. Fresh flowers can be quite expensive, especially during peak wedding seasons, this is where dried wedding flowers come in, dried flowers offer a more budget-friendly alternative that can still deliver a stunning and memorable visual impact.

One way to save on dried flower costs is to opt for more affordable, readily available varieties, such as baby's breath, lavender, or even dried eucalyptus while mixing them with artificial flowers. These versatile blooms can be used in a variety of ways, from bouquets and buttonholes to table centerpieces and larger-scale backdrops and displays.
The added benefit of dried wedding flowers, would be that you can reuse them within your home, as wall displays, vase arrangements, and even gift them to your wedding party. However if this isn't an option for you, then you can also resell your flowers onto another bride, as dried flowers will last for years.

Another budget-friendly option for dried flower wedding flowers and decor is to focus on strategic placement and use. Rather than covering every surface with dried blooms, consider using them as accents or focal points to make the most impact. For example, you might opt for a stunning dried flower arch or backdrop for your ceremony with one of our pampas clouds, which inturn can be used as a wall decoration in your home afterwards. Another way would be to use a more modest dried flower elements, such as table runners and small dried flower vases, in your reception area. This strategic approach can help you achieve a cohesive and visually striking look without overspending on your floral budget.

Better still we have made several packages to help brides on a budget know exactly how much they are spending on flowers.

You can choose from one of our bronze, silver or gold wedding packages for your bridal flowers, with the added option to include decor within your package.
