Luxury Custom Made Decorations

I was definitely set a challenge with this one, but I think I pulled it out of the bag. 

The customer sent me a picture of her stockings, and asked me to create something that incorporates them and the fun side of Christmas, she also loved nutcrackers. 

My first instinct was American Toy stores, like the one off Home Alone. So I got to work looking for things. I was thinking traditional wooden toys. 

From the image you cannot see, but to etiher side of rocking horse nutcracker at the top, there is 2 handmade wodden spinning tops, toys rockets, circus style baubles, in red /white stripes and black/white stripes. To eitherside of the garland on the drape I hve added to full sized wodden Nutcrackers. 

This garland tested me physically and mentally, as it was rather heavy, due to the amount of wooden toys i incorporated, But it worked out perfectly, the wight at either side actually balanced the weight at the top just right. 

The emerald green glitter ribbon and emerald green deco mesh has a beautiful striped pattern throughout which makes the garland pop. 

This Autumn wreath was the first of many autumn wreaths of 2021. 

I was asked to create an Autumn wreath for a fmaily member, and to incorporate as much orange as possible for personal reasons. I gave her a couple of options for signs to choose from and she picked the american style farmers market truck filled with pumpkins. 

This wreath is made of orange, beige, green, and yellow deco mesh, with patterned american style ribbon, pumpkin ribbons, farmers truck ribbon, and autumn leaf ribbon.

I added a double bow ribbon, and a cancer reasearch cross bow at the top, as a little extra touch.

Following on from the privous wreath, I was asked to similar as this cutomer loved it so much. But she wanted blue in aswell, and to remove the sign. 

I did just that, I pride myself on not giving people the exact same, product. Where possible I will make them all slightly different from the next. 

Being brought up with Leeds united in the family, I personally love the yellow sunflowers, against the royal blue colour. 

This one is very unique to the customer.

I was so excited to create this matching Wreath ans Garland. The lady came to me after seeing a post on market place, she trusted me with her ideas, and I went to work. 

She was as Disney mad as me, I love Disney at Christmas, It's so magical, I knew I needed to do this order justice. The customer was also Gingerbread person mad. 

The brief was literally, traditional Disney Christmas( if you know traditional Disney it is very much red and emerald green, the more glitter the better), Gingerbread people, and candy canes. She was also very specific with what kind of gingerbread people she wanted. The classic traditonal type. Which I completely understood. 

The Garland needed to be lightweight due to where it was being hung. I was also going into the invert of a window, so needed to be made to measure. 

I completely fell in love with this matching set. I actually didn't want to let it go. 

Who doesn't love Mr Grinch, Grinch and elves are one of my favorite styles to create, as I can go as wacky as I want to. 

I was approached by a lady who wanted a Grinch garland after seeing some of my other work. I went all out with this one, the legs were anitmated, and also made 'FARTING' noises. I choose the patterns carefully, trying to be as precise to the film as possible. 

Either side of the garland as two bespoke large ribbon bows, with several different patterns. I found multicoloured pine cone lights, just like the ones in the film. 

The garland is finished with a 'The grinch lives here' sign above the legs. 

Last minute Christmas order, for a bespoke personalised door wreath, This contemporary door wreath, looked super sophisticated and elegant.

It was made one a raised wreath, giving a lot fuller affect. Filled with frosted eucalptus, spruce, extra large pine cones, and white berries throughout the wreath. 

The personalised sign was bought from another supplier, it was on a clear acrylic disc, with silver leaf and personalised inscription.
